DESCRIPTION
A highly customizable, open source CAN bus interface for the Tesla Model S and X that plugs into the vehicle’s OBD II port.
The interface is a custom hardware “Giraffe” PCBA coupled with an STM32 based Comma “Panda” with custom firmware. It has 8 FET driven general purpose IOs accessible via an 8P8C (RJ45) connector or optional terminal block and has a 3A fused 12V auxiliary output terminal block. It also has a software controlled Chassis CAN output, allowing you to intercept and modify the vehicle’s chassis CAN bus, enabling applications like OpenPilot (an Open source Autopilot alternative).
